Product Installation Guides, Manuals, and Troubleshooting Tips
Keurig® B150, K150, B150P, K150P, B155, K155, B200, B3000, B3000se, K3000, and K3000se brewers, as well as Flavia and Grindmaster commercial brewers can easily be connected to a direct water line using any of our Direct Water Line Filter Kits. All other brewer types can be hooked up using our Do-It-Yourself Filter Kit.
If you have a Keurig® B150/K150 or B155/K155, you will need to replace your current water reservoir with a Direct Water Line Plumb Kit tank. If you have a Keurig B150P/K150P, B200, B3000/B3000se, or K3000/K3000se, your brewer’s reservoir is already equipped with a Direct Water Line Plumb Kit, and thus already has the ability to be connected to a water line. You will only need a PureWater Filters® Filter Kit.
Simply press down on both sides of the round plastic collet using your fingernails or other hard edge tool and, at the same time, pull the water line (or other connecting part) out. Here’s a YouTube video that illustrates a similar process: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CKXGyb6Pk7o
If you are experiencing a leak, first turn off your water supply. Make sure the water line is pushed ALL THE WAY into each adapter fitting. If this doesn’t fix the leak, try removing the piece of line from which the leak is coming from and replacing it with a new piece of water line (making sure to use a proper cutting tool without pinching the line). If this still does not fix the problem, please contact us and we’ll be happy to ship you a replacement part.
Yes! This is completely normal and is an indication that the charcoal that filters the contaminants from your water is being activated. Make sure to flush the filter with at least 4 gallons of water (or until the water runs clear) prior to use.
This filter works best connected to your cold water line. Connecting it to your hot water line may reduce and/or damage the performance of the filter.
We have seen it done, and people do often use copper line with our filters. We recommend you use it with a plastic line, however, as we do not warrant that the filter will work as intended with copper line.
